Source protection
Whistleblowers face real risk. We design every step to minimize exposure and never publish identifying details without explicit consent.
Whistleblowing · Public record · Accountability
The Public Accountability Project is a platform for publishing whistleblowing concerns — safely, carefully, and in the open. We help courageous people turn private knowledge into public accountability.
Our mission
Corruption and abuse thrive in silence. Employees, contractors, and witnesses often hold the only proof — yet fear retaliation, legal exposure, or being ignored.
The Public Accountability Project exists to lower that barrier. We provide a structured, ethical pathway for whistleblowers to raise concerns, and a durable public archive so institutions cannot simply wait for attention to fade.
We are not a replacement for regulators, journalists, or legal counsel. We are a complement: a place where the public can see what was alleged, what was verified, and what — if anything — was done about it.
How it works
Share what you know through our secure intake process. You may remain anonymous. Include documents, timelines, and context where possible.
Submissions are assessed for public interest, credibility, and safety. We work to verify claims without exposing sources unnecessarily.
Validated concerns are published for public scrutiny. We track institutional responses and keep the record accessible.
Operating principles
Whistleblowers face real risk. We design every step to minimize exposure and never publish identifying details without explicit consent.
We focus on misconduct, corruption, and harm that affects communities — not gossip, personal disputes, or unsubstantiated claims.
Readers deserve to know how a report was handled, what was verified, and what remains unconfirmed.
Our goal is durable public record and institutional response — not clicks, outrage, or fleeting attention.
